Gayla Smith, vocalist, pianist, guitarist, bassist, and composer, has performed in central Ohio for over three decades and has also shared her talents with audiences in Milwaukee, Nashville, New York, Washington D.C., and Key West. 
 
Some of the central Ohio venues hosting Gayla's performances include; The Governor's Mansion for the state of Ohio, The Buckeye Lake Yacht Club, Stache and Little Brothers, Club Diversity, The Copper Penny, PaPa Boo's, Midway Tap, Smitty’s On The Lake, The View (Island House), German Village, The Davis Shai House, Dawes Arboretum, and many others.

Gayla has a versatile style with a song list that ranges everywhere from Billie Holliday to The Pretenders. She has been described by her followers as having “the voice of an angel” and is equally admired as an accomplished pianist. 

Gayla currently resides in the Columbus, Ohio area where she works as a visual artist and performs band and solo pop, rock, and jazz performances. Additionally, Gayla performs voice-over work as well as dramatic roles in local television commercials. She also composes and records her own CD’s.
